breakfast, lunch & mac and cheese

saturday=homework day

inbetween my busy typing i got in a little breakfast:


  • voskos low fat greek (1st try-winner)
  • honey morning o’s
  • weetibix bran
  • apple , banana
  • honey almond butter
  • 🙂

break number 2 i got in some workout time.

jullian michaels 40 min. 6 week, 6 pack- its a good one!


crunch 25 min. ass and abs- also great.

i made some quick fuel to continue on my typing:

it was a great success!

  • the remaining yogurt from this morning
  • spinach
  • spirolina
  • peanut butter
  • the remaining apple and banana
  • 🙂 🙂

we decided to be awesome last night….we snacked on cheese and crackers and we made….

mac and cheese!

we added a few special touches:

for desert:

i had a brown cow chocolate yogurt with peanutbutter

rye had hagendaas chocolate peanut butter ice cream.

smoothie in a pb cup

i try and get my greens in during the day..

but i also like my sweets.

today i combined them.

it started with this:

and the end of this:

i made this before work:


  • 1/2 cup greek yogurt
  • 2 big handful’s of spinach
  • 1/2 frozen banana
  • 1 teaspoon spirolina
  • 1/2 tablespoon raw honey
  • 1/2 tablespoon coconut butter

(some coconut flakes on top would also be a success)


i wasnt sure how this would turn out but i poured away:

i cut a little bit of this and poured a little bit of that.



  • organic apple, blueberries, kiwi
  • natures path vanilla almond granola
  • raw honey

it turned out to be truly a great one.

it carried me through work and i was off with alice for a hike:

(after a little snack of my leftover kobocha squash from last fave on the go snack..its like candy mm)

yes was a bit sunny but wheres all that energy you had last night?

guess she was in need of some smoothie in a pb cup herself.

we had a nice time together.

this was a definite winner earlier this week:

it started out as a lack of sleep and inability to come to a decicsion.

i threw a lot in a bag and wasn’t sure what would result in the outcome:

the day was wearing on me and i was dragging.

i put a little bit of this together:

it was quite a production but i added a bit of this:

and how fortunate was i,

the turn out was beautiful:

  • greek yogurt
  • organic kiwi
  • organic apple
  • organic blueberries
  • chia seeds
  • honey almond butter
  • raw honey


green mango lassi

sunday morning breakfast:

i had a mango whos life was coming to an end.

i knew what to do.

  • 1/4 cup greek yogurt
  • 1/2 head of organic romain
  • handful organic spinach
  • teaspoon raw honey
  • very ripe mango
  • 3 ice cubes

blend away

topped with:

  • remainder of saturday breakfast organic apple
  • organic blueberries
  • almond butter

off to runyon canyon for our sunday hike!

fruitful breakfast

yesterday a.m. i was in need of something cold and refreshing for breakfast before i made my way to the gym.

this was exactly that:

  • greek yogurt
  • ezekial cereal
  • natures path granola
  • blueberries, apple, kiwi
  • almond butter
  • raw honey
  • chia seeds


while enjoying my breakfast i noticed somebody over yonder who seemed to have had a long night that i was unaware of:

get this lady some coffee already.

to start the morning off, ive concluded this isnt really working out:

i wasnt to hungry this morning but i was very much in need of this today:

the real thing is better but this was helpful. the weather has been so dry.

my salad thursday was so tasty i had it again yesterday for lunch:

greens, dried cranberries, follow your heart honey mustard with lemon, jarlsberg and a pear:

post haste i had:

chai..was feeling like i needed a little break from coffee for a day. i added my favorite trader joes vanilla half and half and a few packets of truvia and cinnamon:

and before my journey home i had the most beautiful apple:

complimented of course with only the best: honey almond butter/peanut butter delicious-ness

although i had plenty of sleep last night, getting up was not easy this morning.

i did my usual, readying my eats for work. i readied some for rye guy too:

  • miltons healthy grain
  • jarlsberg swiss cheese
  • raw organic zucchini
  • organic mixed greens
  • organic tomato
  • veganese
  • grainy mustard

topped off with very important instructions:

did i mention i added organic dried cranberries and fresh organic blueberries?..well i did:

as well as follow your heart honey mustard dressing with a bit of lemon juice,

cheese, pear, green wrap!: (ps i have never been into savory sweet..until now)

i was pretty hungry..

later i had a pick me up..or what i had hoped to be a pick me up, but this kombucha was totally flat and just didn’t do it for me….. it was really quite sad.

before i ventured home and off to the gym i had a quick snack delight..

  • honey almond butter
  • organic peanut butter
  • red delicious apple

it really hit the spot.

i have to once again advertise this almond butter because it really is that good….go and get some 🙂
